I facilitate community music workshops, lead choirs and have been developing sensory and body led singing sessions for over 10 years. My intention is always to empower people to let their creative voice be free and enjoy the sound and expression that is possible within them. While trainee music leader at Wigmore Hall in 2016 I developed a series of music workshops for women and children fleeing domestic abuse in Solace refuges, a partnership that continues today. For the past two years I have been leading the staff choir at St George’s hospital, facilitating the group to write their own song in celebration of 75 years of the NHS. I also offer guitar, singing and songwriting lessons which prioritise curiosity and making creative choices as a pathway to learning.

Organisations I have worked for include Wigmore Hall, Arts St Georges, Paddington Arts, Entelechy Arts, Pembroke House, Roundhouse, Unfold, Globe Community Project and Tangled Feet. Festivals I have taken workshops to include Glastonbury, Shambala and WOMAD.

‘Singing with Georgia is everything - not just a choir singing together whose voices combine to make something magic but also therapy - I always feel so calm and happy after a choir session with Georgia. She brings such energy and warmth and humour to every session, it is a joy to be a part of.’

Lizzie Day, member of HERD community choir

“I had the pleasure and privilege of singing under Georgia’s leadership for two years. She is a gifted musician, songwriter and choir leader who brings a clear social, political and environmental consciousness to the work she does. Her bright and sunny disposition immediately makes you feel at ease. It is a quality enhanced by her ability to hold space for everyone no matter where they are in their lives or musical journeys. That being said, she was firm when needed and always encouraged us to go beyond our self-imposed limits to achieve more than we thought possible.

Natasha Ofosu, member of St George’s NHS Staff Choir

‘I have been in a community choir run by Georgia for the past 3 years and would highly recommend her as communicator and musical facilitator. She leads our choir with a lightness of touch combined with a rigorous commitment to the work. Georgia's approach is an integrated one of play and care, and she invites us adults to access a sense of wonder and fun. In addition to her musical skills, Georgia has an emotional intelligence which enables her to 'read' the room and direct rehearsals as necessary.’
